The Field Foundation’s grantmaking and award programs support community power building across Chicago, amplifying resident voices and catalyzing transformative change. We are intentional about investing and organizing capital, working alongside our grant partners to help advance resident-set agendas in our key program areas. We focus primarily on Chicago’s South and West Sides, where our analysis indicates the greatest areas of need. We make grants and awards in three ways.
