Michelle Manson is an evaluation coordinator at Build Chicago where she does evaluations for violence prevention and intervention programs.

What did you learn from your experience as a Field Fellow? This fellowship was a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the

philanthropy sector. I learned about the history of the sector and gained wonderful connections.

Is there a fond memory you recall from your fellowship? I remember being part of the participatory grantmaking cycle for the ART portfolio and walking home feeling like I made a real difference in my community.
